I was looking through Coloardo pics from October 2009 and saw this, and thought you would enjoy this so here ya go!!!!

well on Christmas I joined the Blu-Ray Bandwagon. I got the $150 Sony BD-S360 from Best Buy.  I don’t know how we could stand VHS Tapes. This morning I got out my Toshiba VHS player from the garage and plugged it up. I am still amazed how we managed to stand the poor video quality!!  I had originally  bought it new in 2002 or 2oo3 and  they were getting harder to find. its safe to say I got one of the last ones that they made! Anywho what was I talking about? Oh yea Blu Ray… well I have it hooked up to my 37″  Vizio LCD TV via HDMI and I watched Public Enemies on it recently and it is absolutely amazing the amount of detail in each seen is shown… its nice to not  have the slight artifacts shown in mpeg-2 encoding on Standard  DVDs… if you have the option of hooking  up via HDMI, its the best way to go, as the signal stays digital the entire way. If you go  with Component, the  digital signal is converted to an analog signal over component, then reconverted back to digital on the TV, when you convert signals there is always a slight degrade in quality. Its inherent in the conversion. anywho.. I’m gonna go watch Bourne Supremacy on Blueray now! ttyl peeps!
